Dr. Bobette is a transformation catalyst, ministry leader, and leadership coach who empowers individuals and organizations to lead with purpose, grounded in faith and spiritual formation. With a diverse and impactful career spanning military service, ministry, pageantry, and coaching, Dr. Bobette has dedicated her life to helping others embrace their calling, develop as leaders, and impact their communities.

Dr. Bobette holds a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University, where she achieved a remarkable 3.98 GPA, completing her coursework in just two years with a doubled course load—by God’s grace. She is the CEO of BGB Enterprises, founder of transFORmU™ Coaching, and Executive Director of The Lady Chapter, Inc., a nonprofit providing leadership development for young women.

As an Associate Pastor at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden International and ministry leader, Dr. Bobette facilitates Bible studies, retreats, and leadership programs designed to foster spiritual growth and discipleship. Her heart for empowering women to live authentically as Christ’s ambassadors is at the core of her ministry.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Dr. Bobette served as a Staff Sergeant (E-6) and paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, where she learned the value of discipline, resilience, and leadership under pressure. These experiences have shaped her unique approach to leadership coaching, where she integrates Biblical principles with practical strategies to help women step into their leadership roles with confidence and faith.

Dr. Bobette’s journey is a testimony of resilience and purpose. She draws from her own experiences, overcoming personal and professional obstacles, to encourage others to turn their pain into purpose. Through her work as an international speaker, trainer, and coach, Dr. Bobette inspires audiences to embrace change, overcome adversity, and lead transformational lives.

Her mission is clear: to help women of all generations grow spiritually, develop as leaders, and build a lasting legacy of faith. Whether through coaching, speaking engagements, or ministry, Dr. Bobette empowers others to lead with integrity, embrace their divine purpose, and transform their communities for the Kingdom of God.

As a trailblazer, Bobette became one of the first African American women to speak at the “Got Your 6 Storytellers” event as hosted by HBO in New York, New York.

Known affectionately as Lady B, Dr. Bobette has had the honor of speaking on stages across various sectors, including non-profit, private, and federal government organizations. Her expertise has been featured on platforms such as Good Morning Washington (ABC), Good Day Washington (CBS), Trinity Broadcasting Network, Howard University, and more, where she shares her message of transformation and purpose.

A prolific author, Dr. Bobette has written six impactful books, including Jesus Said Come, Be a Water Walker: You Can Defy the Odds!, and Ladies in Waiting: A 31-Day Devotional for Single Ladies. She is also the co-author of Daily Dose of Direction for Women in Business, The Legacy Project: Empowering the Next Generation of Ministry Leaders, and Marriage the Wholly Hookup: Principles for a Godly Marriage. Dr. Bobette is currently working on her next book and workbook, grounded in her doctoral studies and research, to continue equipping others for transformational leadership.

As a trailblazer, Dr. Bobette made history as one of the first African American women to speak at the 2015 Got Your 6 Storytellers event, hosted by HBO in New York. This opportunity highlighted her unique voice and commitment to empowering others through storytelling.

In addition to her personal achievements, Dr. Bobette, alongside her husband of over 30 years, Dr. T. Cedric Brown, co-founded Marriage: The Wholly Hook-Up™. This initiative provides biblical marital instruction to help singles prepare for marriage and support married couples in strengthening their relationships.

In 2019, Dr. Bobette launched The Lady Chapter, Inc., a Christ-centered, curriculum-based leadership program for young adult women (ages 24-37). This program equips women to embody character, confidence, and competency, empowering them to become the 21st-century leaders God has called them to be.

Dr. Bobette holds a Master of Arts degree from Wesley Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland University College. She is also a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the RAINN Speakers Bureau.

Residing in Maryland with her husband and two adult sons, Dr. Bobette continues to serve and impact lives, helping individuals embrace their divine purpose, grow in leadership, and transform their communities for the greater good.
